Teacher Qualifications

Our teachers must go through an extensive background & health screening before joining our team. This includes filling out a health physical form and completing fingerprinting through our state partners. They also must complete first aid and CPR training. Staff must also complete annual training hours to comply with health & safety and licensing standards.

Enrichment Programs

We have visits from the Emporia Public Library, David Traylor Zoo, and Imaginarium.

Bilingual Educational & Cultural Experiences

Our pre-k class gets Spanish lessons, including singing songs and having stories read to them in Spanish. They also learn the colors, shapes, numbers, and basic phrases in Spanish. The littles also get Spanish time with songs and stories. On-site bilingual interpreters are available if needed.

Natural Setting Next to C of E Park

We have an incredible scenery surrounding us with views of pond wildlife. The changing trees throughout the seasons provide a lot of learning opportunities!

Our Mission

In a caring and positive atmosphere, Center staff will create a warm and happy place for young children to learn. As we bridge the gap from home to center, we guide children to a continued good self-image while building social skills in a structured setting. Aside from this, they will learn through play as well as developmentally appropriate activities.
